UFC 212
This morning the official weigh-in for UFC 212 took place, where Marco Beltrán managed to make weight for his first flyweight fight on Saturday in Rio de Janeiro when he faces Deiveson Alcantara.
Both fighters had to use the towel during the weigh-in, as they had to remove all their clothes to meet the established weight. Both weighed in at 126 pounds on the scale. In total, there were four fighters who had to use the towel, one of them was José Aldo.
The main event protagonists, Aldo and Max Holloway, also made weight at 145 pounds for their fight for the unification of the UFC featherweight title. Before leaving the stage, Holloway told the media present "you'll see tomorrow night!" and then stepped down.
Karolina Kowalkiewicz and Claudia Gadelha, in charge of the co-main event, are on weight for their fight. Gadelha weighed in at 116 pounds and they both posed for the press after making weight.
All 24 fighters on the card attended the ceremony and had no problems making weight, and there were no issues or altercations during the weigh-in.
