Lugo presents its season ticket campaign

Lugo presented its season ticket campaign on Wednesday, highlighting the promotion for children under 14 years old who have passed all their subjects in June, and they will have free access to the stadium with their tutor or tutors, up to a maximum of two, who can purchase their season ticket for 100 euros each.

"Lugo rewards the effort and achievement of children. In sports, we know that studies and academics are essential. The professional life of athletes is limited in time, and we want to reward children so that they become athletes and apply themselves academically," said the club's president, Tino Saqués, at a press conference.

This is one of the initiatives that Lugo has implemented with the aim of increasing the attendance of spectators at Anxo Carro this season in the Liga Adelante, as in recent years the attendance at most matches did not exceed half of the stadium's capacity, which can accommodate more than 7,000 fans.

The club's president has set the goal of reaching 6,000 season ticket holders and having "more than ever the stands filled with fans cheering" for the team.

"The trend in recent years is that it is difficult to fill Anxo Carro, and this campaign we have put a lot of emphasis on allowing children and university students to obtain their season ticket so that we can have a stadium full of Lugo fans," he said.

Under the slogan "Lugo is passion," season tickets for the 2015-16 season start at 30 euros for children in the general stands and go up to 250 euros for adults in the Tribuna section. Those who renew or sign up before August 22nd will have the "club days" included in their annual season ticket.

In addition, Lugo offers a 20% discount on the season ticket rate to unemployed individuals who have been out of work for more than three months, while individuals over 65 years old will benefit from a 10% discount, and youth (15 to 21 years old) will pay between 70 and 175 euros.

The club has also launched a university package for the south section of the stadium, which includes two season tickets for students for 180 euros. For the same price, an adult and two children up to 14 years old can purchase their season ticket, or for 214 euros, two adults and one child. The club has also made it possible for fans to finance the payment of their season tickets through financial entities.

All of these measures are in addition to the one implemented in June to attract sympathizer season ticket holders, with a season ticket that grants access to two matches during the season and is specifically aimed at club fans residing outside of Galicia, so they can have a Lugo season ticket number.
