The Mexican coach Ignacio Beristain is convinced that talent doesn't always prevail, at the end of the day it is determination that defines everything.

In view of the most important fight in Julio César Chávez's career, Ignacio Beristain, who recently joined his corner, stated that the Sinaloan fighter is in good physical condition, but he believes that more time was needed to get him in the physical shape that he would have liked.

"We will be facing the best fighter in Mexico, it will be a night of witches for us, but the best doesn't always win. The one who goes up with more determination wins," said the native of Veracruz, who worked at Otomí for two months leading up to the fight, alongside the physical trainer Memo Heredia.

Accompanied by his counterpart, Chepo, and Eddison Reynoso, the coaches held a press conference to talk about the event they have this weekend and they agree that it will determine who is the best Mexican fighter of the moment.

"Sometimes a corner weighs a lot as long as the boxer listens to you and follows your instructions. You need to know what your boxer can do, as well as their weaknesses. You may have the fighter with the most achievements in the world in your corner, but if he doesn't know the opponent, it's useless," stated Eddy Reynoso, who has been in Canelo's corner for over 13 years, which is why he sees a flaw in the Chávez-Beristain duo that they can exploit during the fight.
