Chile celebrates victory in Copa America

More than a week has passed since Chile was crowned champion of the Copa America, and the players are still celebrating the achievement at the Nacional Stadium.

This time it was Alexis Sánchez who, through his Instagram account, revealed details of the moment he scored the fourth penalty for the national team.

"At that moment, I thought that I had to kick it hard and high, across the goal, but when I took my third step, I realized that I had to listen to my intuition and decided to chip it," the Chilean said.

And then he continued, "When I looked up and realized that we were champions, I thought about my family, the people I love the most, and all the Chilean people who had suffered. Now, for the first time, Chile is the champion of the Copa America, and they deserve this joy," he concluded.

These days, Sánchez is enjoying his vacation time provided by Arsenal, the team that is already preparing for their preseason.
