The Mexican Esteban Gutiérrez was happy with the position he achieved in his debut in the Formula E. The driver, part of the Techeetah team, finished in tenth place and, considering that he only drove the car twice, he highlighted the support of the Mexican fans.

"A first race in which I didn't know the car, the atmosphere has been very pleasant and arriving and doing everything in one day, I feel grateful to the supporting fans, the vibe of the stadium, being able to hear it with this noiseless car; I could hear the people, it's a completely new feeling for me," he declared after the end of the competition.

After a little over an hour and 45 laps, the Mexicans finished happy and content. Although his compatriot Esteban Gutiérrez finished in tenth position, the general feeling was of a great experience.

The fourth round of the Formula E, held at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez in Mexico City, had several nuances, drastic changes, and accident-filled moments. Four drivers could not finish the race, the yellow flag was shown twice, and the big favorite and winner of the first three races, Sebastien Buemi, finished in 16th place.

The Brazilian Lucas Di Grassi showed great experience. The Brazilian driver was the first to enter the pit stop and change vehicles. Later, he had the composure to withstand Vergne's attack. The São Paulo native crossed the finish line with only 3% battery left.

"It is one of the best races of my life, I had to stay constant because I knew I had entered the pit stop earlier. Without a doubt, we had a great competition and I took advantage of the opportunity to win," he commented in a press conference.

With this race, the Formula E said goodbye to Latin America for this season. After being held in Puerto Madero - Argentina (third race) and Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez - Mexico (fourth race), the electric single-seater event will take place next round in Monaco.
