President and judicial administrator of Betis announce extraordinary general meeting
The Board of Directors has agreed to hold an Extraordinary General Meeting on September 23rd, according to Juan Carlos Ollero and Francisco Estepa, president and judicial administrator of Betis. This decision preempts Ruiz de Lopera and Bitton Sport, who will take control of the majority shareholding on July 31st and were planning to immediately request said meeting.
No changes in the current Board until September 23
Therefore, until September 23rd, there will be no changes in the current Board. "It is the responsibility of this Board to maintain the sports planning so that there is no detriment to the sporting part of the club", said Ollero.
Ollero and Estepa have not considered the possibility of including a representative of Lopera or Bitton on the Board through cooptation, and the judicial administrator has not decided whether to continue as a board member after July 31st, when his appointment ends.
"Decline" in season tickets
"There has been a certain decline in the issue of season tickets, but we do not know if it is because of the court ruling. In any case, I appeal to not stop paying for the season tickets because that does not help Betis", said Ollero.
