Real Madrid Coach Zinedine Zidane to Attend Match Against Osasuna

Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane will attend Saturday's match in Pamplona against Osasuna after testing negative for Covid-19. Zidane had isolated himself after being in contact with an infected person, said a source close to the club on Friday.

"He tested negative," and "The league has already given its OK" for the French coach to sit on the Osasuna stadium bench on Saturday in the 18th round of the Spanish championship, the source told AFP. This will put an end to his quarantine.

Zidane was unable to lead the Thursday morning training session, according to Spanish TV channel La Sexta.

The French coach was scheduled to hold a press conference at 15:45 local time (09:45 Ecuador time) before the weekend training session. Currently, the white team is second in La Liga, behind Atletico Madrid. (D)
