Italian football manager Roberto Mancini tests positive for COVID-19

The Italian national football team coach, Roberto Mancini, has tested positive for the new coronavirus, announced the Italian Football Federation (FIGC) on their official website on Friday. It was specified that the coach had undergone "regular checks" like the rest of the organization's personnel.

Mancini, 55 years old, is asymptomatic and has been isolated in his home in Rome, the FIGC stated.

This positive case comes at a time when the Italian national team is scheduled to play a friendly match against Estonia the following Wednesday. This match serves as preparation for the next two games of the UEFA Nations League, against Poland on November 15 and against Bosnia on November 18. AFP
