Khabib Nurmagomedov's Emotional Victory at UFC 254

After defeating American Justin Gaethje this Saturday in the main event of UFC 254, Russian Khabib Nurmagomedov cried inconsolably for his late father.

In July, Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov (53 years old), father and coach of the Russian champion, passed away in a Moscow hospital due to complications from the coronavirus.

Khabib wanted to honor his father this Saturday and he did it with a victory that would be his last inside the octagon. The 32-year-old champion announced that he will no longer fight.

"This is my last time here. There is no way I can come back without my father," declared the Russian.
