COVID-19 Update

The Medical Commission of the Paraguayan Football Association (APF) reported on Tuesday that two members of the main squad of the River Plate club tested positive for Covid-19.

The announcement was made through social media, while also stating that the rest of the players will undergo new studies in the coming hours.

The next match of the team led by Celso Ayala will be on Friday at 19:30 against Olimpia at Los Jardines del Kelito for the 19th round of the Apertura 2020 tournament.

The Medical Commission of the APF reports that two positive cases of COVID-19 have been detected among the River Plate squad following the latest round of testing. They have already been placed in quarantine. The other members will undergo further testing on Wednesday.
