Sunday, from 5:30 p.m. at the General Pablo Rojas Stadium, popularly known as La Nueva Olla, Cerro Porteño and Olimpia will animate a new edition of the maximum party of Paraguayan soccer, the superclásico, for the 17th date of the Apertura 2020 tournament.

In the prelude to the crucial clash, the Paraguayan Football Association (APF), through Diego Churín and Roque Santa Cruz, referents of Ciclón and Decano, respectively, sent a clear message to the fans and the citizenship urging them not to gather and to take care due to the difficult situation the country is going through because of the coronavirus pandemic.

"The passion will not be lacking, and we will cheer from the warmth of home, with the latent anxiety of wrapping ourselves soon in a goal hug," published.

The total number of confirmed cases of coronavirus in Paraguay since the pandemic began is 14,872. This Wednesday, the Ministry of Health reported 16 new deaths of patients with Covid-19, bringing the total number of deaths linked to the disease to 247.
