Neymar returns to Paris after vacation

The Brazilian landed in Paris in the mid-morning after a 12-hour flight on a private plane accompanied by several friends, prepared to rejoin the Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) training on June 22.

According to the sports newspaper, Neymar, like the rest of his teammates, is on paid vacation from June 1 to June 22. He was planning to stay with his loved ones until the last day, but finally followed the club's recommendations, which warned of possible complications for those arriving from outside European borders.

Neymar, 28, has respected the guidelines this time to ensure that he does not miss that first training session, although according to the newspaper, he may spend this last week in the south of France, in Saint-Tropez, with several teammates.

In that area are now Marquinhos, Marco Verratti, Angel Di Maria, and Kylian Mbappé.

Other teammates who also decided to spend the lockdown in their respective countries, such as Costa Rican Keylor Navas, Uruguayan Edison Cavani, and Brazilian Thiago Silva, should be back here by Tuesday.

PSG, which has been declared champion of the French League after the suspension of the championship due to the coronavirus pandemic, still has to play in the Champions League, pending UEFA's decision, and has unofficially set that date as the return to avoid its players having to undergo a fourteen-day quarantine if they come from high-risk countries.
