Injury for Real Madrid's Nacho Fernández
Real Madrid defender Nacho Fernández suffered a muscle injury in his right thigh, less than a week before the restart of the Spanish league after its suspension due to the coronavirus.
The player underwent medical tests that revealed a "muscle injury in the rectus femoris," Real Madrid reported in a statement on Monday.
The team did not specify the amount of time he would be out, only stating that they are "monitoring his progress."
According to AS newspaper, the player could be out for about three weeks, which means he will miss the restart of the Spanish championship.
Real Madrid will face Eibar on Sunday for the 28th round of the league, marking the return of the competition before facing Valencia on June 18.
