Preparation for the return of the league

These friendlies will serve as preparation for the return of the league, scheduled for June 17th.

Restrictions imposed by the league

Among the restrictions imposed by the league is the prohibition for teams to travel more than an hour and a half from their city, although clubs like Newcastle United, due to their distance, will receive special permission.

Travel arrangements

All players will have to travel in their own cars, eliminating joint trips on buses, for example.

Match arrangements

The matches can be played in stadiums or training fields. There won't be professional referees, instead members of the teams' coaching staff will be in charge of refereeing.

Referee tests

This is because the referees have not yet undergone coronavirus testing.

Unused locker rooms

In addition, locker rooms will not be used to avoid unnecessary contact between players.
