Health Protocol for Soccer Training
The material explains that the protocol covers everything from the arrival of players at the institution, with spaced parking lots where they will receive an exclusive kit of clothes to be used during training sessions, to hand washing procedures, temperature monitoring, constant PCR testing for diagnosing coronavirus, individual and group training sessions, which will be authorized by the Ministry of Health.
The 15-page document discusses the precautions to be taken during individual training sessions (which can now be done outdoors), home care, precautions before, during, and after training sessions, previous preparation for when individual training in small groups is allowed, group training sessions, as well as preparation for competitions, estimated to start in July.
POSITIVE CASE. One important aspect highlighted in the health protocol is the isolation of the player and their household, in case anyone tests positive for Covid-19, as well as constant monitoring of people who were in close contact with the positive case. The document also includes a detailed plan of the Para Uno facilities, outlining circulation routes. The circulation plan within the Villa Olimpia area is still pending review and will be evaluated during the week.
Transfer Window Closed
Pedro Balotta, vice president of Olimpia, clarified that it is highly unlikely that the club will make any additions to the player squad this year, ruling out the possibility of signing Colombian players Orlando Berrío, Sebastián Villa, or Junior Alonso. "I think at this moment the last thing we will do is consider player acquisitions," emphasized Balotta.
The material was created in consultation with the Ministry of Public Health and international guidelines.
