The Supreme Decree authorizing the return of professional football was published [PHOTOS].

The Supreme Decree No. 094-2020-PCM "establishes the measures that citizens must observe towards a new social coexistence and extends the National State of Emergency due to the serious circumstances that affect the life of the Nation as a result of the new coronavirus COVID-19" was published in the Diario El Peruano.

"Federated sports activities, including professional football; under protocols approved by the Peruvian Institute of Sport in coordination with the Ministry of Health. The practice of any of these activities should be carried out without an audience in the sports venues," reads the Supreme Decree signed by President Martín Vizcarra and his ministers.

In view of this announcement, the Peruvian Football Federation (FPF) assured that the return of professional football, after more than two months of quarantine due to COVID-19, will be carried out with great responsibility and respect for sanitary protocols.
