Diego Forlán is an authoritative voice to speak about the performance of his compatriots abroad. The current coach of Peñarol believes that Luis Suárez will return to his best form in a few weeks, after his knee surgery that did not allow him to train properly.
In an interview with the Spanish channel Movistar, Forlán was asked about Suárez's age (33 years old) and the possible arrival of Lautaro Martínez, who could be the next center forward.
"That a club like Barcelona is looking for a replacement is logical. This doesn't only apply to Luis, it can be for the front three or for the players who are there and are all growing," said the Uruguayan.
"Cachavacha" pointed out that Suárez still has a long way to go in LaLiga. "Luis has a lot of football to give and many goals to score at Barcelona, without a doubt. I think he is a very disruptive player, who plays very well, who is very intelligent, who is getting to know himself more and more, gaining more experience, and not only as a great scorer but also as a great player," said the former number 10 of the Uruguayan National Team.
