The Blue and Red Crusade

The Blue and Red Crusade sold a total of 53,093 symbolic tickets, exceeding La Nueva Olla's capacity and raised a total of 385,040,000 Gs, helping 31,152 people.

The solidarity of the Cyclone spread across 17 departments throughout the country and 22 neighborhoods of the capital.

"Those two hours and twenty minutes of transmission brought a lot of hope and showed a united people. It was much bigger than what we imagined at the beginning," said Victor Ibarrola, the visible leader of the project.

During the transmission from La Nueva Olla on Sunday, April 26th, historic jerseys and other valuable items such as the champion medal of the blue and red coach Francisco Arce were also auctioned.
