University of Chile loses to Audax Italiano in Chilean Apertura Tournament
The University of Chile, led by Uruguayan Martín Lasarte, lost 3-1 to Audax Italiano at Bicentenario de La Florida Stadium in Santiago, in the match that closed the sixth round of the Chilean Apertura tournament.
Trouble in the Stands
Apart from the match, there was a disturbance in the stands at La Florida Stadium. Bottles and liquids were thrown onto the field, frequently reaching Audax Italiano goalkeeper, Nicolás Peric.
Things got worse in the 51st minute, when fans of the University of Chile fell from a stand to the field, from a height of at least 5 meters. One of them was transported by ambulance to a medical center in the capital.

The Italian colony club dominated the first 20 minutes with repeated attacks and clear superiority over the blue team, resulting in an own goal by Argentine player Matías Rodríguez in the 22nd minute. In the second half, Audax Italiano increased their lead to 2-0 in the 76th minute, thanks to a goal by forward Felipe Mora, who headed in a cross from the right.
Two minutes later, the university team put the result in suspense with a quick goal by Francisco Castro, but four minutes later, Felipe Mora scored his second goal to seal the final score of 3-1.
