Tomorrow the result of the last series of Charros will be determined.

Charros de Jalisco could say goodbye to the season without winning, as consolation the last series of the year, because this Thursday the Tomateros de Culiacán defeated the Jalisco team in the second game with a score of six to five, reason why everything will be defined this Friday in the last match between both teams.

Just as in the opening game of the series, Jalisco was the one who opened the scoring. This time in the third inning, the white and blue team took a momentary advantage with a double by Carlos Figueroa to left field that drove in Amadeo Zazueta.

After a fourth inning without changes on the scoreboard, Tomateros managed to tie the game with a single by Maxwell León that brought Antonio Lamas home in the top of the fifth. However, the joy lasted little for the 'guindas' team, as in that same inning, Charros would bring in the second and third runs for their cause.

It was enough for Alejandro Ortiz to enter the batter's box to once again tilt the balance in favor of the team of Édgar González, as the slugger hit a home run that also brought Gabriel Gutiérrez to home plate. The score was one to three.

Jalisco gained confidence in the game and a new solo home run by José Manuel Rodríguez made the advantage even bigger in the sixth inning. It seemed that Jalisco would have no problems securing the series, but a five-run rally in the seventh inning put the 'culichis' team back in the fight.

After the Sinaloa team loaded the bases against Juan Salvador Delgadillo, Julio Félix took control but couldn't get out of the tight spot. To welcome him on the mound, a hit by Sebastián Elizalde brought Antonio Lamas to home plate and José Guadalupe Chávez to third base.

Ramiro Peña was the next one to harm Félix with a single that brought Chávez home, but it was Joey Meneses who sealed the Culiacan's comeback by hitting a home run. By taking it out of the park, Joey also allowed Elizalde and Peña to score.

Charros still narrowed the distances with a run by Gabriel Gutiérrez in the bottom of the seventh, however Tomateros won the second game of the series and everything will be defined in the third game, which will be played this Friday at the Zapopan ballpark.
