The Orioles of Gómez Palacio are having a great moment in the Major Baseball League of La Laguna, after winning the complete series against Sandilleros de Tlahualilo in week 6, winning the first game as visitors 7-3 and repeating the dose with a 7-4 victory at home on Sunday.

Meanwhile, in the city of Durango, the Alacranes defeated Lerdo to also win the complete series.

Gabriel Cervantes lost the game, pitching 4 and a third innings, giving up 9 hits and 6 runs. The best hitters for the Orioles were Ricardo Baltazar, who went 2-for-4, and Evaristo Mena, who also went 2-for-4 with two doubles and 2 RBIs. Rogerio Noris stood out for Tlahualilo, going 3-for-4 with two RBIs.

In the other Sunday game, held at Francisco Villa Park in Durango, the Alaranes defeated Lerdo 6-2, with a 3-run rally in the fourth inning, and Flavio Villavicencio producing with a double, and the other run coming in on a second baseman's error. Jesús Manuel Carlos won the game on the mound, while Luis Rodríguez took the loss.
