McLaren-themed Suite at Hilton Mexico City Reforma

Followers of the McLaren team in Mexico will have an option to enhance their Formula One experience. The Hilton hotel located in Mexico City Reforma has unveiled a suite inspired by the Woking-based team, which can be booked from October 13th until November 6th of this year.

"This is the first time in Latin America that McLaren-Honda, together with Hilton, brings this suite to Mexico. It has previously been set up in Singapore and Abu Dhabi hotels. However, we are thrilled to be able to showcase a themed room with the designs of the team's drivers, (Jenson) Button and (Fernando) Alonso, in the context of this upcoming race. It is a great honor", explained Rafael Sanchez Navarro, director of sales and marketing at the hotel.

The room is filled with details related to the team. It starts with a small replica of Jenson Button's helmet, and the living room is adorned with two checkered flags and black and white accents. Pirelli tires, like the ones used by the cars in the top category, are also displayed, as well as a mannequin wearing Fernando Alonso's race suit.

The room, also decorated with black and white, features a cap and a book showcasing the team's history. Even the bathroom has bathrobes with the surnames Button and Alonso, and a tire next to the bathtub.

The rental of the room, which costs around $360, does not include the possibility of taking the objects home, as they belong to the team and are only borrowed. The hotel clarified that it is already reserved for the weekend of the Mexican Grand Prix, between October 28th and 30th of this year.

"This suite is available from October 13th until November 6th and will only be for the lucky ones who can reserve it. Some dates have already been booked," concluded Sanchez Navarro.
