Charles Leclerc

had the best weekend of his career at the Australian Grand Prix. The Monegasque Ferrari driver not only won the race at the Albert Park circuit, but also set the fastest lap of the day: he led throughout the competition and secured pole position in qualifying. The last person to achieve this 'Grand Slam' with the Italian team was Fernando Alonso in 2010.

“What a car today. Of course I did a good job all weekend, but it wasn't possible without the car. I'm so happy!”,

Leclerc said after winning his second race of the season.

With this victory, the 24-year-old driver accumulated 71 points in the championship, 34 more points than his pursuer George Russell, who reached 37 points after finishing third in Oceania. Carlos Sainz, who dropped out of the race on lap 3, dropped one position and remained with 33 points.
