Winning the Mexico Bowl at the Azul Stadium adds a special flavor to the obtained title, as the Professional American Football League (LFA) managed to have the Ciudad de los Deportes venue host the third edition of this championship.
That's why Ricardo Quintana, the quarterback of Mexicas, who says he will remember this achievement with special affection, as it was the last sporting event at this venue in the Nochebuena neighborhood.
"We will take this with us for history, it will stay in our souls and when they talk about the last game at the Azul, they will say it was Mexicas'."
Achieving the goal was not easy, as the capital team started the game slowly, although they managed to secure the victory in the second quarter.
"That's what we needed, to score points, in the first quarter we could only get a field goal but we didn't stop trying," he explained. "The advantages always opened up, I remained calm to wait for any route."
