GIMNASIA LOOKS TO BOUNCE BACK AGAINST TIGRE

The shards of the tough defeat against Argentinos Juniors last Saturday are still felt in the institution of 4th Street. However, the Superliga does not allow rest or concessions, and that is why, today, Gimnasia will have the opportunity to leave behind everything that happened during the week and start creating a new path. Lobo visits Tigre in Victoria from 7 PM, with referee Diego Abal and will be broadcasted by cable networks TNT and TNT Sports.

LOTS OF VARIATIONS AND YOUTHFUL BLOOD

From the team that crashed against Bicho at home with a 3-1, only seven names repeat in the starting eleven. In a week where work was done from all possible aspects (mental, physical, tactical, and psychological), Facundo Sava decided that the eleven that will jump at Jose Dellagiovanna from 7 PM will be: Alexis Martin Arias; Manuel Guanini, Maximiliano Coronel, Omar Alderete; Ezequiel Bonifacio, Agustin Bolivar, Fabian Rinaudo, Nicolas Colazo; Brahian Aleman; Eric Ramirez and Nicolas Contin. In this way, and with the absences of Oreja, Licht, Faravelli, and Pereyra from the start, Colorado would have a novel 3-4-1-2 with which he will try to hurt an even more battered Victoria team.

YOUTH ACADEMY STRIKERS

The offensive duo Ramirez - Contin will have their first time as starters in Gimnasia's first team. Therefore, Lobo's opportunity to reverse this meager present coincides with "his" moment to show that those who have had minutes and have not performed should not occupy a place among those concentrated. Immersed in a situation that is not ideal and in which, if it continues this way, we must begin to look at the relegation battle, the youth from the academy will have the difficult but very valuable mission of stepping up to start adding again.

A NON-INTIMIDATING OPPONENT

The opponent at hand is far from their best moment. With only 16 points, Tigre appears in 24th place in the standings and drags six games without a win. Paradoxically, the last victory of the Tiger was against Gimnasia and Esgrima La Plata's previous conqueror, Argentinos Juniors, with a 2-0 result.

The team led by Cristian Ledesma goes through a situation as complicated as that of Lobo, and while the continuity in the first division does not seem to be at risk this season, it is mainly because the four teams that would be relegated, present an even worse current form than Victoria's team. Precisely, Olimpo de Bahia Blanca, Arsenal de Sarandi, Chacarita, and Temperley are the only teams positioned below Matador in the standings.

From this, it can be deduced that the current opponent presents more as an opportunity for Sava's team to start to recover, rather than a threat to further deepen their bad moment. However, the words and self-criticism expressed throughout the week behind closed doors must be validated once the ball starts rolling to face triperos and matadores.
