Unfortunately, Peruvian driver Nicolás Fuchs had to abandon the 2018 Dakar Rally after suffering mechanical problems in the tenth stage.
This race covered the territories from Salta to Belén in Argentina and did not prosper for Fuchs as the engine presented faults in the first kilometers of the special stage.
"Due to engine problems, we have not been able to continue and we are quitting. It hurts, but that's how cars are," wrote 'Nico' in his Twitter account.
Nicolás Fuchs was in 10th place overall in the Dakar Rally until the ninth stage. This withdrawal leaves Peru without their best bet in the car category.
