Nicolás Fuchs started his second adventure in the Rally Dakar on the right foot, aboard his new Borgward BX7DKR prototype, he finished in third place in the first stage in Pisco alongside his co-pilot Fernando Mussano with a time of 22m25s in the 31 timed kilometers of the special stage after a 242-kilometer link from Lima.
Nicolás Fuchs hopes to have a great performance in the most extreme rally on the planet, which will end on January 20. 'I had never started such an important race in my country, I'm happy for that. There's a lot of pressure, but I'm glad to be here with all the drivers and do my best in the competition. It has been a tough year in the development of the car, it's incredible and now we're going for the dunes of Peru,' said the driver.
