Nicolás Fuchs is ready for the Dakar Rally 2018

Nicolás Fuchs is ready to start his second consecutive edition in the Dakar Rally 2018. Last year, in his first time participating in this race, he finished in 12th place overall, making history for our country in the Dakar 2018.

Now, 'Nico' is ready for a new adventure with his co-driver, Fernando Mussano, with whom he has been competing for years. It will be a new experience for both of them, as they will start the race in our country. They spent an intense day fine-tuning the last details of their vehicle, as they will undergo technical inspections tomorrow.

The driver explained what his team is preparing for any inconvenience and, especially, for the stages that will take place in the 3 countries: Peru, Bolivia, and Argentina.

The latest tests

"We have tested the truck a bit. This vehicle has double shock absorbers per wheel. On the side covers, we have two spare tires, as we will need them in the Peruvian desert. At the back of the truck, we will have the third wheel for stages with rivers," highlighted Nicolás Fuchs with a view to the Dakar 2018.

In addition, 'Nico' moved to Lurín to carry out a final test inside the truck before the vehicle undergoes technical inspections by the organization. The Peruvian driver thanked the support that people continue to give him, hoping that they have had a good year, and promised to once again represent our country with pride.///
