PREVIEW
The first stage of Caminos del Inca 2017 was won by Raúl Orlandini. The 'Mono' arrived first after 2h49m12s and leads not only his category (Integral Traction), but also the overall rally standings. And this Monday (8:00 am), in the second phase, from Arequipa to Puno, he will try to stay at the top of the race. The arrival is scheduled for 12:00 pm.
"It was a tough stage, we had logistical problems like lack of gasoline. Luckily, we found support from other drivers and now we just have to prepare the car for the new stretch," said Orlandini, who takes the start of Caminos calmly.
On the other hand, Nicolás Fuchs finished seventeenth in the top category with a time of 03h21m54s. If he wants to win his third title in the competition, 'Nico' will have to shorten the distance with the 'Mono', with whom he has not competed since 2012.
