The Mexican Grand Prix returns to the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez
The Mexican Grand Prix, classified as the event of the year for two consecutive times by the International Automobile Federation (FIA), returns to the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez on October 27, 28 and 29.
After 23 years, an event of this magnitude returned to the country to establish itself as one of the most important, as it allows seeing the best Formula 1 drivers racing at over 300 km/h, as well as the pride of having Sergio 'Checo' Pérez as a Mexican representative on the track.
Public officials have been present at the Autódromo since 2015, and here we tell you who:
The former president of Mexico, Felipe Calderón, attended the 2015 GP accompanied by his son Luis Felipe and his wife Margarita Zavala, who is now running as an independent candidate for the Presidency.
In the stands of the Hermanos Rodríguez, the Secretary of Tourism, Enrique de la Madrid, was also present in that same year, who shared a photo on the Collective Transportation System prior to the GP.
The then Secretary of Foreign Affairs, Claudia Ruiz Massieu, was also there.
For the 2016 edition, the former president of the Senate and member of the Green Ecologist Party, Pablo Escudero, attended with his wife, the PRI deputy Sylvana Beltrones; also the senator of the National Action Party, Roberto Gil Zuarth, and his wife, Elia Mary Knight.
The national leader of the PRI, Enrique Ochoa Reza, attended accompanied by his wife, Greta Rojas.
The President's son, Alejandro Peña Pretelini, also attended in the company of the sons of the Secretary of Social Development, Luis Enrique Miranda.
