This Thursday, the historic car competition Caminos del Inca started, in its 2017 version. The attendance of the audience was important in the symbolic departure that took place in the Costa Verde. In total, there are 71 crews in six categories registered and RPP Noticias will cover the event from start to finish.

"The goal is to win the category and if we can win, we will surely be at a good pace and fighting for the top positions in the general classification. We are going with a similar configuration to the one we used in the ACP Championship, where we won the title. We are very confident in having a good performance," said Lucho Alayza, one of the favorites in the Super Tourism category.

Alayza, four-time National Rally Champion and three-time winner in his category in the Caminos del Inca, will face this new edition with all the motivation of adding one more title to his list of achievements. Lucho will once again have the experienced navigator Ive Bromberg, a five-time winner as co-pilot of the renowned Luchón Alayza, Chachito Dibos, Raúl Orlandini, and Nicolás Fuchs.

The traditional tournament will have a total distance of over three thousand kilometers. The locations? Caminos del Inca will pass through nine departments: Lima, Ica, Arequipa, Puno, Cusco, Apurímac, Ayacucho, Huancavelica, and Junín. This Saturday, the 28th, it starts with the first stage towards Arequipa, while the final arrival is scheduled for Sunday, November 5th, in the capital.
