Race 24K Classic Bermejillo-Mapimí
Alfredo Alemán Baños, director of Carreras Laguna, highlighted as one of the attractions of the 24K Classic Bermejillo-Mapimí race, its precisely 24-kilometer route, which will take place on the road that connects these two sister towns, with a very particular landscape.
In addition to being part of the festivities of Mapimí, which as a Magical Town has captured the attention of its visitors.
Alemán Baños, who is in charge of the race logistics, recalled that this test will take place on Sunday, July 23.
The start will be at 8:00 am from the main square of Bermejillo and the finish line will be at the main square of Mapimí.
It is a 24-kilometer race that will be run in the following categories: Open (up to 29 years old), Submaster (30 to 39 years old), Master (40 to 49 years old), Veterans (50 to 59 years old), Veterans Plus (60 years and older), Mapimí Runners (any age, born and residents), as well as 3x8 Relays, consisting of 3 relays, each running 8 kilometers, any age, mixed.
All categories are open to both men and women. Registrations are available at Bosque Venustiano Carranza, with Yayo from Monday to Saturday from 8:00 am to 11:00 am and from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
Each runner is entitled to chip loan, t-shirt, number, finisher medal, transportation to the race, recovery kit, and raffle of items.
Number collection will take place on Saturday, July 22 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm at Bosque Venustiano Carranza.
The overall winners will be awarded 2,000 pesos for first place, 1,500 pesos for second place, and 1,000 pesos for third place, in each category.
