Diablos Rojos del México defeat Tigres de Quintana Roo in Comeback Victory

In the ninth inning, the Diablos Rojos del México scored a run to defeat their fierce rivals, the Tigres de Quintana Roo, in the third and final game of the series held at Estadio Fray Nano in Mexico City.

With two-thirds of an inning pitched and one strikeout, closer Nathanael Santiago was the winning pitcher for the scarlet team, while Craig Stem took the loss after pitching two-thirds of an inning, allowing two hits and giving up the winning run for the "pingos".

Sergio Contreras opened the scoring, crossing home plate to give the Tigres their first run in the second inning, and catcher Gilberto Galaviz drove in the second run for the Bengal Tigers. However, the Diablos responded with a four-run rally in the bottom of the same inning.

Emmanuel Ávila started the rally by driving in the first run for the scarlet team, Luis Alfonso García scored the tying run, and Ricardo Valenzuela and Carlos Figueroa added two more runs for the home team.

The Tigres tied the game in the sixth inning with two runs driven in by batter Brian Hernández, but it was Luis Alfonso García who, with the bases loaded in the ninth inning, hit a sacrifice fly to right field, allowing Jesús Fabela to score the winning run for the home team.

With this victory, the Diablos take the series by winning two out of three games. However, the scarlet team and the felinos will face each other again starting on May 23rd when they meet once more at Estadio Beto Ávila in Cancun, Quintana Roo.
