In the preview of the first Golden State Warriors vs. Sacramento Kings game in the NBA Playoffs 2023, Stephen Curry made an unexpected announcement.

Golden State Warriors qualified for the 2023 NBA Playoffs to have the opportunity to defend the title they won in 2022, and such is the team's focus for the first round that Stephen Curry made an unexpected announcement before the first game against Sacramento Kings.

Of all the opponents they could have faced, the Warriors will face the team that Curry wanted to play against. Due to not achieving home-court advantage by finishing in the top four positions, Golden State debuts in the first round against the Kings on Saturday, April 15th at 8:30 PM ET at the Golden 1 Center.

Stephen Curry showed in his 14th season that he is the main reason why the NBA game has changed with impossible shots from unthinkable distances. The star of Golden State Warriors made another shot from before midcourt against the Boston Celtics on January 19, 2023, and now he is determined to tell the world how the legend of 'The Chef' began in the best basketball in the world.

In the style of Michael Jordan with the documentary series 'The Last Dance', Curry decided to bring his basketball story to the small screen with the documentary 'Stephen Curry: Underrated'. The Apple Original Films and A24 film, produced and directed by Emmy Peter Nicks, will show archive footage and exclusive interviews about the journey of the Warriors' star from college basketball to being a champion in the NBA.

I couldn't be with you in person, as you can see I'm here at the practice facility getting ready for our pursuit in the Playoffs that starts this weekend. And I'm also excited to announce that, for the first time, 'Stephen Curry: Underrated' will be exclusively premiered on Apple TV + on July 21st. So, mark your calendars and get ready for that. I hope you enjoy it and thank you for the love you've shown me,"

announced Curry in a video posted by Jason Dumas from the Bleacher Report portal, before the first Golden State Warriors vs. Sacramento Kings game of the 2023 NBA Playoffs.
