Benny Williams returns to starting lineup, scores career-high 24 in Syracuse loss: ‘I’m proud of him’

Pittsburgh – Last week, on a bus leg of a trip back from Clemson, Benny Williams learned from his head coach that he would return to Syracuse’s starting lineup.

“I was shocked,” he said. “I was just ready for the opportunity. Any time my team needs me to be out there on the floor, I’m gonna try my best to help our team win the game. It didn’t matter if I started or not.”
