The Philadelphia 76ers (12-9) take on the Cleveland Cavaliers (13-8) on Wednesday at the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET. Below, we analyze Tipico Sportsbook’s lines around the 76ers vs. Cavaliers odds, and make our expert NBA picks and predictions.

The 76ers defeated the Atlanta Hawks 104-101 on Monday as they covered as 2.5-point favorites at home. Philadelphia is currently on a 3-game winning streak and the team has won 7 of its last 10 games.

The Cavaliers suffered a 100-88 loss to the Toronto Raptors on Monday as they fell short of covering as 5-point underdogs. Cleveland has won 5 of its last 7 games.

76ers at Cavaliers picks and predictions

Prediction

Cavaliers 112, 76ers 106

Moneyline

Even though I envision seeing the Cavaliers winning at home on Wednesday, I’ll PASS on the moneyline in this game. This should be a close game, so it’s not worth the risk taking Cleveland straight up to secure a victory at the current odds.

Against the spread

While I won’t take Cleveland to win straight up, CAVALIERS -3.5 (-110) is an enticing wager in this game. While Allen won’t be available to guard C Joel Embiid, the Cavaliers should get a better performance out of G Donovan Mitchell after he scored only 8 points in Monday’s loss to the Raptors.

The Cavaliers are 9-1-1 ATS in their last 11 home games. Meanwhile, the 76ers are 2-5-1 ATS in their last 8 meetings with the Cavaliers.

Over/Under

OVER 211.5 (-110) appears to be too low of a number despite the injuries for both teams. Even though most of the trends point toward the Under being the ideal bet, the 76ers and the Cavaliers have hit Over 211.5 points in 3 straight meetings.
