Game Time: 5:00 PM EST on Saturday November 26, 2022
Dallas Mavericks 100, Toronto Raptors 105 (Final)
What’s the buzz on Twitter?

Soul crushing stuff for the Mavs in TOR. another big lead gets away. PHX, OKC, WAS & TOR losses when leading by 14+ pts. Other games vs POR & LAC lost 15 and 25 pt leads but still managed to win. Tonight 5-12 from 3pt in 1st Qtr. 6-27 after that. – 8:01 PM

“He should get another meme like I had, lying on the bench” — Chris Boucher on OG Anunoby playing 43 minutes and all 24 in the second half guarding Luka. pic.twitter.com/V0MH3jn4QW – 8:00 PM

Anunoby continues to make his case for All-Star/All-D. Served as the primary defender on Luka, who was held to 24 pts on a season-low 15 FGA. Played the entire 2nd half and scored 12 of his 26 pts in the 4th. Great (and busy) night.
Nurse: “I think he’s gonna sleep well tonight” – 8:00 PM

VanVleet was asked if he’s ever seen Chris Boucher play better? “I don’t know. Have you seen him in the G League? He was box office,” VanVleet said of the former G League MVP and defensive player of the year. – 7:56 PM

Was that the best VanVleet has ever seen Boucher play? “Did you see him in the G League. He was box office.” – 7:56 PM

Is that the best Fred VanVleet has seen Chris Boucher play?
“I don’t know, did you see him in the G League?” – 7:56 PM

“For a guy that’s considered a ball hog, I think that’s pretty good.” – VanVleet on passing Alvin Williams for fourth on Raps’ all-time assist list – 7:55 PM

“We hit a little bit of adversity. But it’s November, about to be December. We’ll be fine.” – Fred VanVleet – 7:52 PM

Final. Milwaukee tomorrow.

O.G., Fred, Boucher were terrific. Thad made several great passes and was aggressive on the offensive glass. Juancho had a solid impact. Both Khem and Dowtin Jr. gave good minutes off the bench. Gary’s struggling with the shot but had some important moments too. – 7:41 PM

After letting a heartbreaker slide last Saturday, the Raptors close one out in a big-time way this Saturday. 👍
They made multiple key plays — on both ends — to earn the win over Dallas. Impressive game for the still-undermanned Raps…who made it tough on Luka all night. 👍 – 7:40 PM

Luka Doncic is averaging 23 field goal attempts. He took 15 in each of his 2 games vs the Raptors and their pressure defence – his lowest marks of the season. He scored 24 points tonight – only the 4th time in 17 games that he’s been held under 30. – 7:39 PM

Mavericks fall to the Raptors 105-100. Toronto scored on its last six possessions and another great opportunity eludes the Mavericks, who were outrebounded 48-34. Luka finishes with 24 points. – 7:37 PM

Dramatic win by Toronto over Dallas in the Trade Machine Holiday Classic. – 7:36 PM

Thats a great shorthanded win against a good (albeit underachieving) Mavs team. The Raptors improve to 10-9 on the season and a respectable 5-5 since Pascal Siakam (and then multiple others) went down. They should get Siakam back next week, perhaps as early as Monday vs Cleveland – 7:36 PM

Raptors win. A strong effort.
Kept Luka Doncic as quiet as you really can.
Fewest shot attempts by Doncic this season:
15 vs. Raptors Nov. 4
15 vs. Raptors Nov. 26 – 7:36 PM

‘Topes win! 105-100. 26/9/2 for O.G, 24/8/7 from Luka in matching 43-minute performance. A gutsy win, and memorable 1-on-1 duel, as far as the regular season goes. – 7:35 PM

Season-high 3-game losing streak and fourth loss in the last five games for the Mavericks, who fall to 10-10 overall and 1-6 on the road. – 7:35 PM

Thad has missed some bunnies tonight he’d normally make but a couple swishes at the line when it mattered most. He’s been awesome again. – 7:33 PM

Two Thad Young FTs and a 3 pt Raptors lead, 16.6 left, Mavs now out of timeouts – 7:32 PM

Thad Young, a 66.3% shooter from the stripe for the year, drills two. Raps lead 103-100 with 16.6 left. – 7:32 PM

Raptors call timeout with O.G. trapped, up 1, 18.1 game clock, 15 on shot clock
We’re in for a finish – 7:30 PM

Fred VanVleet has had a superb game. He also just passed Alvin Williams for fourth on Toronto’s all-time assist list and what a way to do it (finding Chris Boucher to go up 3 late). Alvin is calling the game on TV with Matt Devlin today. – 7:27 PM

With the amount of reviews down the stretch of this Raptors game, I could have already put my baby to sleep. – 7:27 PM

O.G. Anunoby’s been awesome tonight (in spite of a horrendous whistle). – 7:25 PM

Juancho closing in place of Trent here. Gives the Raptors more size (and maybe shooting, with Gary slumping), but I thought GTJ had a pretty good night defensively. – 7:15 PM

Another textbook “glue guy” game from Thad Young tonight. IF Raptors cut, he will find them. – 7:14 PM

Mavericks having trouble scoring, but so are Raptors, who are up 90-87 with 4:10 to go. Mavericks took a timeout. – 7:10 PM

Wood has scored 7 fourth-quarter points, but the traction Dallas gained has for now been lost. Raptors 90-85. – 7:02 PM

This is the Mavs’ first lead since it was 35-32 with 7:30 left in the second quarter.
Just like Dallas planned all along. – 6:58 PM

Raptors being drilled in the non-FVV minutes, Mavs lead with 9:15 to go
And here comes Fred – 6:58 PM

Luka sat for the final 26 seconds of the 3rd quarter but is back on the floor to start the 4th. So is O.G. Anunoby, who may have to play the entire 2nd half, assuming Doncic doesn’t come out again (and, considering the game is tied with 9:15 left, that’s a safe bet) – 6:57 PM

Good sportsmanship from Luka. Got blocked by Anunoby, but helped him back up while the play went the other way. Not something you see all that often. – 6:55 PM

Look, I’d like to see a lot more of Doncic and Wood on the court together, too. Mavs are tough on the eyes. But I’m just stating a fact that, on this night, Doncic and Wood played the last 7:53 of the third quarter together.
Mavs basically treaded water, got outscored 17-16. – 6:51 PM

Mavericks down 81-73 after three. Fred VanVleet has 26 points to lead all scorers. Luka with 18, six assists, five rebounds. Rebounding has been awful for Dallas (38-23, Raps). – 6:50 PM

Toronto leads 81-73 after 3Q, led by VanVleet with 26 and Boucher with 18. Doncic with 18/6/5. – 6:50 PM

Last couple minutes notwithstanding, that was a great defensive quarter. Raptors have scored 20 points off 15 Dallas turnovers, including 7 points off 7 turnovers in the 3rd. Since starting the game 5-for-11 from 3, Mavs are shooting 2-for-17. Toronto goes into the 4th up 81-73 – 6:49 PM

Raps up 81-73. Some very big non-OG/Fred/Luka minutes coming to start the fourth. – 6:49 PM

Very solid quarter, O.G. been a terror; Raptors up 81-73 going to fourth – 6:49 PM

Looks like Fred VanVleet is going to skate around afterward as the game’s first star. – 6:47 PM

Wood is on the board and somehow the Mavericks are just five points down. – 6:46 PM

Raptors uo 9, 2:47 left in the third; Mavs gotta hang on and somehow not get drilled in the non-Luke minutes that have to come – 6:43 PM

4 PFs on Thad Young with 3:30 left in the third; since this doesn’t seem to be a Koloko game, that might be troubling
It’s Birch now – 6:38 PM

Boucher’s cutting with Thad is really showing up this quarter. – Ver noticia en Trending
