The moneyline here is far too risky of a bet for both sides. I don’t believe in the Mavericks being as heavily favored as they are, even as the home team. And even if I did I likely wouldn’t tell you to place money on a team that is this heavily favored. The risk here is not worth the reward.
Against the spread
BET GRIZZLIES +5.5 (-108).
This is your best bet for this game. The Grizzlies are playing like a contender to win the Western Conference, and I don’t think that will change Saturday. Expect both Morant and Doncic to play high-caliber basketball, but in the end expect the Mavericks to pull this one out. With Wood playing well for the Mavericks he adds a lot on both the offensive and defensive ends of the floor that the Mavericks were desperately missing last year.
Over/Under
LEAN UNDER 219.5 (-112).
This should be a great game where the stars for both teams show up to duel, but I still believe the Under here is safer than the Over. Both teams here have superb offensive firepower and are extremely well coached, but I believe that whichever team is able to put together more stops down the stretch will win this one. If this game surpasses the Over, then the Mavericks should win by a healthy margin, but I believe this one will be a close one and in order for that to happen I think this game needs to stay below the Under.
