Luego de más de dos años de inactividad debido a the coronavirus pandemic, the Peruvian Sports Institute (IPD) has started a new stage of sports workshops for children and teenagers, with the purpose of continuing their education and promoting physical activity.
Disciplines such as athletics, basketball, and volleyball are being developed at the facilities of the Elías Aguirre Stadium and the Chiclayo Colosseum, under the technical direction of specialized teachers belonging to the IPD.

Classes are carried out for free, with prior registration, and the schedules are according to age:
Athletics: Elías Aguirre Stadium in Chiclayo (Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays)
- Ages 6-8: 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Ages 9-10: 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Ages 11-12: 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Basketball: Sports Colosseum (Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays)
- Ages 6-8: 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Ages 9-12: 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Volleyball: Sports Colosseum (Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays)
- Ages 6-9: 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Tuesdays and Thursdays)
- Ages 10-12: 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (Tuesdays and Thursdays)
- Ages 6-9: 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. (Saturdays)
- Ages 10-12: 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (Saturdays)
