The Colorado State Rams (17-3, 7-3 MWC) travel to Reno, Nev., to square off against the Nevada Wolf Pack (9-12, 3-7) in Mountain West Conference action Tuesday. Tip-off at the Lawlor Events Center is slated for 11 p.m. ET. Below, we look at the Colorado State vs. Nevada odds and lines, and make our expert college basketball picks, predictions and bets.
Colorado State lost back-to-back games at the end of January before getting back on track by getting by San Diego State in a close shave 58-57 in its last game Feb. 4. The Rams are an excellent shooting team, which takes good care of the basketball. They shot just 44.3% from the field over their last three games, a bit of a drop-off from the 50.2% they shot in going 16-1 to start the season.
Nevada lost at San Diego State 65-63 Sunday and now returns home with a five-game losing streak in tow. The streak opened with a 77-66 loss at Colorado State Jan. 25. The Wolf Pack have averaged just 56.5 points per game in the four contests since.

Colorado State at Nevada odds, lines, picks and predictions
Prediction
Colorado State 75, Nevada 70
Money line
CSU needs to be effective from 3-point-land, and Nevada has found some success against such teams. Nevada has had some clunkers of late, but those games may very well have been heavily influenced by some small-sample shooting woes.
That colors the price somewhat beneficial in this home game.
TAKE THE WOLF PACK (+220).
Against the spread
Nevada has played a significantly slower pace of late as the Under is 5-0 in its last five games. Peg the more-than-two-possessions tag here as being too generous.
BACK THE WOLF PACK +6.5 (-120), but consider just a partial unit play at -115 or more.
Over/Under
PASS.
Crisscrossing signals underpin the analysis here.
