The New York Knicks were unable to sign shooting guard Reggie Bullock, who played for the Los Angeles Lakers last week, so now they have set their sights on power forward Marcus Morris, according to ESPN.
According to the information published by the media outlet, the New York franchise would be offering him fifteen million dollars for a single season, an offer that the basketball player, who played with the Boston Celtics for the last two years, would be seriously considering.
Markieff Morris' twin brother finished his contract with the Celtics, so he is unrestricted. It was expected that he would sign with the San Antonio Spurs for the next two years (for 20 million dollars), but it seems that the offer from the Knicks has appealed to him more.
In the last NBA season, his seventh playing, Marcus Morris averaged 13.9 points and 6.1 rebounds with the Boston Celtics. If the Knickerbockers sign him, he will join the new additions to the New York team: Julius Randle, Bobby Portis, and Taj Gibson.
