Dollar Bay’s Jacob Iacono pulls off a nasty triple-crossover, and finishes despite drawing contact in the 74-68 victory against Cedarville.

Warren De La Salle’s Easton Sikorski finishes a nifty layup in transition in the Pilots’ 63-58 victory over U-D Jesuit.

Belleville’s Jalen Williams records an outstanding block on a 3-point attempt from Traveon Maddox.

New Haven’s Romeo Weems goes up, up and away for the alley-oop in the Rockets’ 78-72 victory over Bridgeport.

Top performers

Taylor Currie, Clarkston: Finished with nine points, 11 rebounds and three blocks for Clarkston (24-1) in the Wolves’ 52-31 victory over Flint Carman-Ainsworth (23-3) in a Class A quarterfinal contest. The Wolves will square off with Warren De La Salle (19-7) in the state semifinal round Friday at noon at the Breslin Center.

Donavan Freeman, River Rouge: Recorded a double-double -- 17 points and 12 rebounds -- in the 59-44 victory for River Rouge (23-1) over Dearborn Divine Child (18-7) in a Class B quarterfinal contest. The Panthers advance to take on Benton Harbor (25-1) in the state semifinal round Friday at 5:30 p.m. at the Breslin Center.

Charles Garrett, Bridgeport: Poured in 36 points for the Bearcats (24-2) in a 78-72 losing effort against New Haven (26-0) in a Class B quarterfinal contest.

Trendon Hankerson, Novi: Led the Wildcats (17-8) with 24 points and six assists in the Wildcats’ 75-73 victory over Belleville (20-6) in a Class A quarterfinal contest. Novi moves on to face Holland West Ottawa (24-2) in a state semifinal contest Friday at 2 p.m. at the Breslin Center.

Ronald Jeffery III, New Haven: Posted 29 points and seven rebounds in the Rockets’ Class B quarterfinal win vs. Bridgeport. New Haven advances to play Grand Rapids Catholic Central (23-2) in the state semifinal round Friday at 7:30 p.m. at the Breslin Center.

Foster Loyer, Clarkston: Scored a game-high 19 points, while grabbing 10 rebounds and dishing out six assists for Clarkston in its victory over Flint Carman-Ainsworth.

Traveon Maddox Jr., Novi: Posted 22 points, and scored on a floater as time expired to give Novi the buzzer-beating win vs. Belleville.

Luke Pfromm, Warren De La Salle: Scored 21 points for De La Salle in the Pilots’ 63-58 win vs. U-D Jesuit (22-4) in a Class A quarterfinal contest. De La Salle advances to the state semifinal round against Clarkston.

Xavier Wade, Holland West Ottawa: Scored 20 points in West Ottawa’s 58-55 win over East Lansing (22-4) in a Class A quarterfinal contest. West Ottawa will play Novi in the state semifinal round.  

Romeo Weems, New Haven: Peppered the stat sheet with 13 points, 10 rebounds and five blocks in the Rockets’ victory over Bridgeport.

Honorable mentions

Gabe Brown, Belleville: Led the Tigers with 17 points in the Tigers’ loss to Novi in the state quarterfinal round.

Jason Norton, River Rouge: Chipped in 13 points for River Rouge in the Panthers’ quarterfinal win vs. Dearborn Divine Child.

Tavares Oliver, New Haven: Compiled 13 points and five assists in the Rockets’ quarterfinal win vs. Bridgeport.

Easton Sikorski, Warren De La Salle: Contributed 15 points in the Pilots’ victory over U-D Jesuit in the state quarterfinal round.
