Trail Blazers Extend Winning Streak to 11 Games, Defeat Cavaliers
CJ McCollum contributed 29 points as the Portland Trail Blazers extended their winning streak to 11 games, the longest active streak in the NBA, with a 113-105 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Thursday.
Damian Lillard added 24 points for the Blazers, who are currently on their best winning streak since also winning 11 consecutive games in 2013. Additionally, Portland achieved their eighth straight home win.
LeBron James scored 35 points, including a highlight-worthy dunk in the first quarter that left the spectators at the Moda Center momentarily stunned.
James also recorded 14 rebounds, marking his sixth consecutive double-double. Kyle Korver contributed 19 points.
