Karl-Anthony Towns is three seasons into his stellar NBA career. He absolutely made the right decision to leave Kentucky after his freshman season.
But what if he had stayed through his senior season?
Towns tweeted a reminder on Wednesday of just how stacked Kentucky would have been if that 2014 class had all stayed in Lexington. Wednesday would have been Towns’ senior night.
Towns, Trey Lyles, Tyler Ulis and Devin Booker all would have been seniors this year. All four are in the NBA.
Of course, John Calipari never expected to have that group for all four years, and the Wildcats nearly pulled off a 40-0 season with that group as freshmen.
Just think if they had stayed…
