Top 15 Teams Clash in Littlejohn Coliseum

Littlejohn Coliseum will be rocking on Sunday when the Clemson Tigers host the Duke Blue Devils in a 1 p.m. matchup of top 15 teams. Both will be dealing with crucial injuries. Superstar Duke forward Marvin Bagley III will miss his third straight game with a knee sprain, while Clemson will be without the services of junior guard Shelton Mitchell, who is suffering from neck pain.

The Blue Devils opened as one-point road favorites and now are laying 2.5. The Over-Under, or total number of points Vegas thinks will be scored, is 150.5.

Expert Picks: Duke-Clemson

Last week, White made another strong ACC pick involving Virginia Tech at Virginia, boldly backing the Hokies at +12. He wisely recognized that Virginia Tech would not be rattled by the Cavaliers' daunting defense. The result: the Hokies not only covered the spread but won, 61-60, in a monster upset, allowing White to cash with more than a dozen points to spare.

White knows Duke's best shot at covering the spread is more scoring from Grayson Allen. The senior guard has averaged 24 points in Bagley's absence and will need to up his defensive intensity to slow down a Clemson squad that hits 38 percent of its long-range attempts.

But Clemson can keep it within the spread -- or win outright -- by exploiting the paint with Bagley on the sideline. He's a beast on the boards, ripping down over 11 rebounds a game. Bagley was also good for at least one block and steal per outing, but in his absence, Tigers forward Elijah Thomas should be able to effectively post up.
