Imani Watkins scored 33 points and Alyssa James broke the program's career blocks record as the Binghamton University women's basketball team beat host UMass Lowell, 76-46, on Sunday.
James' record-breaking block came with 3:42 left in the fourth quarter, giving her 237 in her four seasons, which breaks the mark of 236, set by current associate head coach Leah (Truncale) Bowers from 1998-00.
James broke the America East record of 231 career blocks against Stony Brook on Thursday.
Watkins reached the 30-point mark for the second time this season. She went 13 of 19 from the field, grabbed eight rebounds, dished out three assists and recorded a game-high five steals.

Watkins' 1,882 career points are second in BU history and 12th all-time in the America East. Watkins' season average of 21.8 points per game is ahead of Bess Greenberg's 1999-00 school record of 21.3 points per game.
Greenberg, a Vestal graduate, holds the program's all-time record with 2,024 points.
Lizzy Spindler and Kai Moon each scored 12 points Sunday and Carly Boland added 10.
Leading 34-28 at halftime, the Bearcats (12-7, 3-3) held the River Hawks (3-16, 0-6) to two field goals in the third quarter and extended the lead to 53-36, with Watkins scoring 12 in that stretch.
BU is scheduled to face UMBC at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Events Center.

BU men fall at home
J.C. Show scored a game-high 26 points for Binghamton University, but UMass Lowell notched its first America East victory of the season, 79-71, on Sunday at the Events Center.
The River Hawks (7-12, 1-5) extended their 33-28 halftime lead with an 8-2 run to start the second half with a 3-point play and a jumper by Jahad Thomas and a 3-pointer from Josh Gantz.
Show hit a 3 to bring BU to within 46-40 with 14:37 to play, but UMass Lowell used a 9-2 run to extend the margin to 59-46 with a layup from Gantz. The Bearcats closed the deficit to five with a 10-2 run before Matt Harris hit a 3 and followed with a jumper and BU couldn’t get closer thereafter.
Matt Harris led UMass Lowell with 24 points and Josh Gantz added 19. For BU, Everson Davies scored 15 and Thomas Bruce added 13 with a collegiate-high 19 rebounds.
