Chicago — Zach LaVine scored 18 points in just his second game with the Chicago Bulls, who defeated the Miami Heat 119-111 on Monday to end their seven-game winning streak.
Justin Holiday set a career-high with seven three-pointers and totaled 25 points for the Bulls, who have won three straight and 14 of their last 21 games.
LaVine tore his anterior cruciate ligament last season with Minnesota, which traded him during the offseason in a deal involving Jimmy Butler and other players. He scored 14 points on Saturday against Detroit in his Bulls debut.
Chicago is limiting LaVine to 20 minutes per game in the week since his return. He scored 13 points in 12 minutes in the first half, and his four-point play with 9 tenths of a second left in the second quarter gave the Bulls a 55-48 lead.
He also had five rebounds, five assists, and two steals.
