Judo: Lenia Ruvalcaba to fight for gold at the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games
Lenia Ruvalcaba will be fighting for the gold medal in Judo (up to 70 kilograms) at the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games, and she will do it against the local athlete, Alana Maldonado.
Ruvalcaba gave the Mexican delegation its fifth medal of the competition, after winning two gold medals (shot put and judo), a silver medal (javelin throw), and a bronze medal in athletics (100m category T52).
Previously, Lenia defeated the Uzbek athlete Gulruh Rahimova in the quarterfinals and the Venezuelan athlete Naomia Soazo in the semifinals.
