Morning Race Powerade Comarca Lagunera
This Sunday morning will be held the first edition of the Powerade Comarca Lagunera 5K and 10K athletic race.
The competition will start at 8:00 am with the starting and finishing point at the Venustiano Carranza Forest, on Juan Pablos Street.
A route will be made around the forest for the 5K participants, while the 10K distance will pass through the Torreón Jardín neighborhood, the Campestre Torreón, and Diagonal Las Fuentes.
Each registered runner will receive a Dry fit shirt, official number, and a Chip for timing. At the finish line, they will be given a package containing a medal and hydration. Everyone will have the right to participate in the gift raffle.
There will be medical service during the race, cloakroom, restrooms, traffic security, and post-race massages.
Coca-Cola has invited the residents of Comarca Lagunera to come out and support the runners in their effort to complete the race.
10K Categories:
- Male: Juvenile up to 19 years old, Open 20 to 29 years old, Sub-master 30 to 39 years old, Master 40 to 49 years old, Veterans 50 to 59 years old, and Veterans Plus 60 years old and above.
- Female: Juvenile up to 19 years old, Open 20 to 29 years old, Sub-master 30 to 39 years old, Master 40 to 49 years old, Veterans 50 to 59 years old, and Veterans Plus 60 years old and above.
5K Categories:
- Open (any age).
- Different Abilities.
The 10K race will have supply points at kilometers 2, 4, 6, and 8, while for the 5K race, they will be located at kilometers 2 and 4.
Prizes for the 10K race per category are: 1st place - 1500 pesos, 2nd place - 1000 pesos, and 3rd place - 500 pesos. The overall winners of each gender will receive an additional 1500 pesos.
For the 5K race, the prizes per category are: 1st place - 1000 pesos, 2nd place - 750 pesos, and 3rd place - 500 pesos.
All participants will enter a gift raffle with a total value of 50,000 pesos. Among the gifts, there will be two mountain bikes, two 32-inch TVs, Bluetooth headphones, microwaves, and Innova Sport gift cards.
