Conade launches academies to search for sporting talent.

With the purpose of detecting sports talent among young people between 11 and 16 years old, this Tuesday six CONADE Academies were presented at the CNAR facilities.

Young athletes can be detected through Academias Conade

With the aim of detecting sports talent among young people between the ages of 11 and 16, six Conade Academies were presented this Tuesday at the CNAR facilities.

After several attempts, it is expected that this project of the National Commission of Physical Culture and Sports (Conade) will become definitively established for the good of sports in Mexico, and the first step is focused on the disciplines of baseball, mixed martial arts, volleyball, tennis, boxing and basketball.

The main goals are to detect sports talent through Tryouts and a selection of participants in a transparent manner, always with the idea of generating high competition and an academic future.

The National Center for Development of Sports Talents and High Performance will make some changes to become the best CNAR in the world.

Alfredo Castillo, head of Conade, José Sulaiman, president of the World Boxing Council (WBC), as well as representatives or former athletes from each of the six initial disciplines that are part of this Conade Academies project, were present at the event.

Among them are former boxers Erick "Terrible" Morales and Jorge "Travieso" Arce, former baseball players Esteban Loaiza and Rodrigo López, former basketball players Eduardo Nájera and Horacio Llamas, former tennis player Jorge Lozano, mixed martial artist Yair "Pantera" Rodríguez, and volleyball players Juan Virgen and Lombardo Ontiveros.

Each of them shared some experiences and highlighted the importance of these types of projects that will provide great support for young athletes.
